I am trying to add a national spirit to my country through a focus. I have 2 other spirits that work fine but one of them just doesn't work. (it just says "will add Johannes Williams which grants () )

it shows this error code when I check the error log: 

Invalid idea: BAD_army_beneifits. If you wanted to reference a variable, you need to explicitly prefix it with var: or temp_var:.

I don't know what that means, so any help is appreciated.
