I wanted to make a mod to update Turkey's name to "Turkiye" as I prefer it much more over its archaic name. I've done everything such as creating the mod in the Paradox launcher; creating the necessary folders/files- this is what it looks like so far:
I have the localization all set up- and I've renamed every single tag which Turkey could be renamed to in countries_l_english.yml, but for some reason when I run the mod itself- it seems not to work? Perhaps I'm following an outdated tutorial- or... the wrong one, since the one I used to discover what files I needed to use was for a tutorial on how to *create* a country and not how to rename one.
But I'm rather confused here. Do I have to recreate the country from scratch? Isn't there a simpler solution? ðŸ˜
