I have tried my best to do this, or simply to just check if a national does or does not have a a country spirit - I want to add one when a focus is completed and then remove one later as well as making it where you cant do some focuses without first getting rid of a nation spirit. Basically how do you incorporate them with focuses? ^W^

(P.S I have tried to do this myself and it just says idea does not exist  (I tried to do it as an idea but it didnt work either so)

You will need to create the national spirit in the idea tool first.

Then in your focus, you would use:

add_ideas = IDEA_ID

IDEA_ID is set like so [PREFIX_]idea_name

If your idea list has a prefix set, then you need that first. The prefix cannot start with a number, as HOI4 doesn't allow that for some reason, but as long as it's alphanumeric, it will be as you typed it. So "TEST", "test", "TesT", "T3st" will all be valid prefixes. Then that is followed by a _, if it is set.

Then the idea name is lowercased, spaces replaced with _ and anything which isn't alphanumeric (excluding _) is removed. So "We're the Best!" becomes "were_the_best".

Which means, if your prefix is "Test" and your national spirit's title is "We're the Best!" you would use the following in your focus reward:

add_ideas = Test_were_the_best

Then to removed you use:

remove_ideas = ...

And, to check a country has it:

has_idea = ...
