[27/Nov/2021] IMPORTANT! HOI4 Barbarossa update - Please read!

I hope that everyone's been having fun playing with the new update, and DLC if you have that too.

As you are probably aware, a lot has changed in-game, and that brings about a lot of changes to how the files created through the mods are handled.

Because of the updates, there may be some data which your browser has cached for this site to function which is still using the previous update's data. You can reset the cache by clicking this button:

I have just finished the updates needed for the country creator tool to bring it up to the latest version of the game; this means added in the new states, generals/leaders being exported in the new way, and updating the exported generals/admirals so that they will have the correct icon if you promote them to be in the government.

Along with this update to the states, I have also updated how the map displays when editing states/selecting where your divisions should spawn. It uses to just be shades of blue (if using the normal site theme) but now it will display the countries using their current colour.

If you haven't removed the old cached states data, click the button above, as the old data doesn't include the states colours (meaning you'll have a lot of white, and a few patches of random colours).

Also in this update, the new researchables (trains & tank parts) have been added. Do note that whilst the doctrines no longer are part of the research system in the game, they still act like research in the mod files - so should you want your country to start with a doctrine, just add it via the research tab.

Finally, a few states/provinces which were missing/assigned to the wrong state have also been fixed with the map update.

If you haven't already reset your cached data, do so using the button below.

I will be looking at adding the new armed forces spirits at some point soon. Although the game treats these as ideas, so they may just get added to the Ideas tool.

As always, if something isn't working right, or you think something should be added to make the site better, please do let me know.

This should now be fixed, you will either need to delete the country which failed to be assigned start dates or ideologies, or manually add the start dates, and then the ideologies, under the "Your Mods->[mod name]" section

It seems the map was attempting to load in on page load; which causes a long load time. This has been fixed, as it should be behind a button click to load the map separately.

Can't say I've seen that error.

Are you running the latest version of the game? If so, do you potentially have a mod installed which changes the map's definitions.csv file?

That's a lot of work.

The site misses all the new gfx of no step back, for example I have seen that there aren't the new focuses icons.
