When adding custom ideologies to a country, it is only possible to add up to 14 ideologies. Any more ideologies will simply not show up.

I have a question about ideologies. Regarding the number inputs, such as "Join Faction World Tension Limit," is everything in decimals? For example, if I input 0.25 for Join Faction World Tension Limit, does this equal to 25% world tension in-game? Thanks.

I've had some trouble trying to make formable nations and changing colors, but I think I finally got it down.

(This is a guide for curious modders.)

The easiest way to do this is via focus tree but it can also be done with events, and hopefully decisions when they are released here.

1) Make a new country but do NOT assign it any states.

2) On that country, pick the color, name, and tag you want for your formable.

3) On the country that will form that nation, go to their focus tree and make a new focus. This will be the focus that forms the nation.

4) Do whatever you need to the focus that makes it line up with everything else; icons, prerequisites, checks, etc.

5) On the rewards section, pick "set_cosmetic_tag". You can probably find it by just searching for "Cosmetic Tag".

6) There are 3 components that will change the tag/name of the country:

   1. "SAF" or the country the will be effected.

   2. "SOV" or the country that will be formed.

   3. "communism" or the ideology effects, like the ideology's name and flag for that specific ideology.

7) Replace "SAF" with the tag of the country that will be effected. This is usually the country of the focus tree you're editing. (Like Poland, if you're trying to form the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.)

8) Replace "SOV" with the tag of the formable nation, or the country you created on step 1. (Like the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, if you're trying to form it.)

9) Replace "communism" with the ideology that you want the formable nation's name to correspond to. THIS WILL NOT CHANGE THE ACTUAL IDEOLOGY! It is usually fine to put the ideology as whatever the nation's ideology was before the new one is formed.

10) You may now save your changes and test it out in-game. Let me know if there are any problems.

How can I make an option only appear for one or a few countries? And, how can I do the opposite of that, so every country gets the option, but specific countries don't?

You're in luck! This will be coming in the next update, alongside an ideology creator.

I'm hoping to have it done either the end of next week, or the week after.

I think it would be really nice if we had a scenario creator/editor. The ability to change the start date would be pretty useful for alt-history mods and such.
