Changing politics for existing country isn't working

I'm making a mod and I'm trying to change the politics of germany, but it doesn't change for some reason. The political pie chart just stays the same as vanilla, and changing the ruling party isn't working either, it just stays fascist. Any help would be appreciated....

When I have my mod active, all other countries disappear

Exactly what the title says. When I activate my mod, all other countries disappear, and just show blank. None of my political advisors or high command show up either. I've got no clue how to fix it. If you have any idea what's going on, or even a theory, pretty please let me know!...
