Hi. Im making a mod that completely changes all countries. But for some reason they dont loose their national spirits and also some nations (e.g. Communist China) keep their vanilla party popularities even though i have changed them in the mod. How to fix these things?

Another thing is that america still guarantees all nations despite it not being in the country settings.

Communist China will be doing that, as your mod doesn't override the base game's file. The name needed is ComChina for the tag PRC.

The USA will be the same, as the tag USA uses the name USA.

The name shown in the country list on your mod's page needs to match the filename the game uses. If it doesn't match, the game will use the base game's file over yours. To edit the filename, you need to press the settings (cogwheel) icon to the right of the country's name.

As for national spirits, these should be overridden providing the filenames are correct.

 That was actually my theory and what i tried to fix, but i didnt find the correct name for communist china so thanks!

Could you tell me the correct name for Russia/USSR? Because they spawn with divisions so i think that should also fix that.

 Ok i did as you said and it almost fully worked. The only thing is now that when i hover over the hammer and sichel with my curser, it still says "Communist Party of China" despite me having changed the name.
